New Zealand scuba diver missing off Mana Island February 7, 2006

CDNN are reporting a missing scuba diver, lost off the north end of Mana Island, off the Kapiti Coast. After the diver, Robert Hohepa Hewitt, the brother of ex-All Black rugby star, Norm Hewitt, failed to resurface, his dive buddies reported a missing diver emergency.

A sea and air search was turned up nothing and officials announced they will expand the area to be searched.
