Closed Circuit Rebreather constant Po2 Tables March 9, 2006
Posted by Andy Carroll in : Rebreathers , trackbackAs I was wandering around the internet today as you do, I stumbled across the DiveRite e-commerce store and saw these constant Po2 tables which might be useful for closed circuit rebreather divers.
As the partial pressure of oxygen is constant on a closed circuit rebreather the rebreather diver needs a set of slightly different tables than the open circuit diver. These tables are produced by IANTD and according to the spiel;
The International Association of Nitrox and Technical Divers (IANTD) prepared these dive schedules in a standard structure that is familiar to divers trained in the use of traditional dive tables. The tables are printed on both sides of white waterproof fabric sheets using special flexible inks in black with blue and/or green highlighting. All sheets are 7-inch by 9-inch in size, have rounded corners and a punched hole so you can assemble several sheets into an easy-to-manage collection.
As well as the air tables (or rather air diluent tables), there are a whole range of tables for different gasses, including NDL tables, deco tables, oxygen exposure tracking as well as trimix tables for use of helium in the diluent.
