Sra Keow cave in Thailand explored to 201 mtrs depthCedric Verdier emailed me a little while ago regarding his latest exploits in Thailand. he recently dived the Sra Keow cave to a depth of 201 mtrs using his Megalodon rebreather. He is now one of only three divers who have explored the system deeper than 150 mtrs!

This from Cedric’s website;

Cedric Verdier pushed the limits of the Sra Keow Cave to 201m / 663ft.

For this 6 hour-long dive, he used a standard ISC Megalodon Closed-Circuit rebreather with an axial scrubber and no major modification (except oil-filled handsets and battery compartments to withstand the pressure). The Megalodon CCR performed flawlessly at these extreme depths.

This dive is supposed to be the deepest dive ever done with a Megalodon, and also the deepest cave / rebreather dive ever done in Asia.

For this exploration, his team mate was Mike Gadd, a very experienced rebreather diver who used an Ouroboros CCR to dive to a maximum depth of 191m / 626 feet.

Congratulations Cedric. Please let us all know how the Yamashiro wreck exploration goes
